2021 BKC Race #1, Prefinal

Big turnout for the first BKC race of the 2021 season. Race took place at G&J Kartway in Camden, OH.

24 Drivers in the L0206 Heavy class, and I qualified 16 of 24, probably about .7 seconds slower than I ran in practice, and other race days. With the heavy turnout, I think the track was more rubbered up than usual, and the added grip bogged me down in a few turns (that's my guess). Anyway, I wasn't successful with my adjustments, but I wasn't crazy slow either, so I dealt with it.

You'll see I got turned going into 3 on the first lap, so I had my work cut out for me. I was able to battle back somewhat, and finished 15, I believe.

Shout out to all the drivers, as for the most part, everyone was pretty fast, and the racing was clean. And a big shoutout to the Buckeye Karting Challenge, for putting together a great event.
