In many ways the following is a true statement…..

“There are two kinds of people, those that figure out how to do the things they know need doing and those that find a way to talk themselves out of doing them.”

I want to be clear, I am coming at this out of the gate with an understanding that some parents really can’t home school, they just can’t for a variety of reasons. However, I am also going to bend a few noses with my next statement, many who can will do an incredible amount of mental gymnastics to convince themselves they can’t because they either don’t want to, don’t think they can or have incredibly false beliefs about what homeschooling is and what the results of it are.

The system has never been more afraid of parents pulling their children out of “the system” as they are right now. The pandemic unleashed a literal tidal wave of people who had been on the fence deciding that they may as well homeschool if their kids would be at home anyway. It is now time to unleash the second wave of exodus from the system.

Today I give you an update having now home schooled our grandson for over a year, as to what that has been like and why I highly encourage every parent to really and I mean really try to figure out how to get this done.
