#PALESTINE solidarity protesters march through Bristol today#PROTEST🇵🇸

More than a thousand people are expected to attend this Saturday's peaceful event.
Around 1,200 people are set to march across the city this weekend as another Palestine solidarity demonstration takes place today.

It comes a week after 500 people descended on Castle Park to stand in solidarity with the people of Palestine.

Organisers say the march will start at 2:30pm in Easton by the Shah Jalal Mosque underneath the M32 bridge before moving to College Green.

Sanya Ijaz, one of the organisers for todays event, said 1,200 protestors are expected to attend with people travelling from cities across the UK including Birmingham and Bradford.

How the day will unfold
2pm - Protesters asked to arrive for this time underneath the M32 bridge
2.30pm - Opening speech by organisers then march begins
3pm - Arrive at College Green
5pm - Event set to end after closing speech

March route
Shah Jalal Mosque (BS5 6PE) - Stapleton Road - Old Market - Lower Castle Street - Union Street - Bridewell Street - End point College Green.

Security and police
The event organisers have their own security on board as well as Avon and Somerset police who will be positioned at the back of the crowd.

A planned vehicle convoy was supposed to accompany the march but it has since been rescheduled for a further protest on Saturday May 29.
