Welcome! In today's video we discuss my TOP 5 ESSENTIAL BULK FOOD PREPS that you should put in your pantry now. I often share how I budget out our family's grocery needs separately from our BULK FOOD PANTRY NEEDS. I feel that keeping these two categories helps to systematically stock up your pantry on a weekly basis. I always keep an ongoing "REGULAR GROCERY LIST" as well as a ""BULK FOODS LIST" on my phone. I designate Wednesday as my "food day". Meaning, on Monday and Tuesday I work on putting in my grocery pick up order so that it is ready for pick up on Wednesday. By Wednesday, I also place my "BULK FOOD ORDERS" usually I use amazon, walmart, or shop around to see if any other websites are offering better "price/pound" or "price/ ounce " deals. I absolutely love the convenience of having my bulk items delivered to my door. I have also found that Wednesday is a wonderful midweek day to get my groceries in the house. It helps to keep the house stocked and ready for the weekend when we are all home more. I keep notes in my phone on the date that I place the bulk order and anything else that I need to make a note of. It's easy this way to prioritize which items our family needs.
