Welcome! In today's video, I break down "PREPPING" or "STOCKING UP" your pantry in the most simplified version! Sometimes we can become overwhelmed with the idea of building a family pantry or prepping just because we think that we need to PREP EVERYTHING! This is absolutely not true. The truth is that we can not only survive as human beings, but THRIVE on just the most basic and simplest food items! I learned so much from my grandmother who lived on a farm her whole life. She taught me how to prepare and eat very simply by showing me how they handled food through the great depression. I love the concept of PURPOSEFUL PREPPING and being very specific about the foods you are putting into your pantry. You will want to prioritize NUTRITIONAL VALUE as your number one filter when building your pantry. BE SPECIFIC! I encourage you to start to make a list of the things that your family eats that you can grow in your own backyard. Learn how to use these basic food items to make some basic recipes for your family. You will be amazed how easy and simple it is to stock your pantry, cook , and eat when you have just the basics! I hope that something in this video was a blessing to you!
