Today on Acrylic Pouring with Friends - Art by Tracie Reed I am doing a Simple Swipe Painting on Canvas using some Pinks, Reds, and Gold Acrylic Pour paint for my Facebook group challenge!

This acrylic pour painting demonstration is intended to be an overview of the Swipe Painting on Canvas. If you would like to learn more about acrylic pouring, discuss how to use this technique, feel free to leave a reply in the comment section below, and I will answer.

The paints I used today:
Soho Urban Artists Alizarin Crimson
Custom Gold
Liquitex Basics Quinacridone Magenta and Medium Magenta
Pebeo Iridescent Blue Violet
DecoArt Decor Metallics Berry
Amsterdam Pearl Red
Golden Lamp Black-Swipe color

Swipe color recipe- 1 tsp. paint and 3 Tbsp. Aussie Floetrol. If using American Floetrol- same recipe just add a few drops of water and about 8 drops of pre-stain wood conditioner.

My paints are mixed with my pouring medium, which is 50% Liquitex pouring medium, 40% Floetrol, 5% Golden GAC800 and 5% water.
No silicone was added.
