Sunday Longplay - Castlevania 3: Gold Edition (NES ROM Hack) - Sypha's Path

This week on Sunday Longplay, I'm exploring a ROM hack of my favorite action platformer on the NES. Welcome to Castlevania 3: Gold Edition!

This hack is, so far that I've seen, currently the only ROM hack of Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse that completely changes all of the levels in the game. The color palettes have also been changes to make the game feel fresh, and the game feels at least as hard as the base game if not slightly harder, which is good that it doesn't go completely overboard with it like some other Castlevania hacks do (Curse of Suffering immediately comes to mind in that department!). Everything looks new, and plays like a charm, and I highly recommend this hack to any Castlevania fan!

I'm playing through Sypha's path in this playthrough, though I am planning another Sunday Longplay for Alucard's path as well (on the Hard Mode second loop as well!).
