The concept [of the Metaverse] comes from a novel, and later a movie called, Snow Crash, written by science fiction writer, Neal Stephenson in 1992. That was the first time the term Metaverse was mentioned in public, and this is where the EL-ite got their term from—or should I say, Stephenson got the term from the EL-ite?
