Hi everyone. Today I will review Stepen with their governance token named GMT. It is built on the Solana blockchain, but from my understanding they have a Binance contract as well.

Let us see what is going on with this project so stay tuned.

People want to know why GTM is down and the honest answer that I can guess is just typical market conditions from the recent FOMC meeting and also people taking profits after the coinbase listing.

This is not financial advice but the fundamentals around GMT are impressive.

GMT is tied to lifestyle, gaming, and fitness. And as of today, they are valued above one billion dollars. In this ecosystem, you are able to earn revenue simply by moving which is called “move-to-earn”.

What I do find impressive about GMT is that their founders already come with experience in the crypto market along with gaming as well. And earlier they were able to raise five million dollars in seed round from some of the biggest crypto venture capital firms like Sequoia Capital, Folius Ventures,

Solaran Capital, Alameda Research, 6th Man ventures,

DeFi Alliance and several others.

Several notable investors include Santiago Santos and Zhen Cao. Santiago is known from his work at ParaFi Capital while this young lady by the name of Zhen Cao manages an investment firm with over two million users which is pretty impressive. I know that five million investment dollars might seem like peanuts to some of you guys especially when this project is valued at five billion,,, but it is not about the money. It is about the relationships that might help propel GMT farther in the future.
