Flat Earth? Prove All Things

In 1 Thess. 5:21, the Apostle Paul told us we are to "Prove all things. Hold fast that which is good. Should not this topic of the shape and nature of our world and its place in the cosmos also fit into the category of "all?" I think it should, which is why I think the discussion is important.
