CUBA: Explosion destroys Hotel Saratoga in Havana

A large explosion shook the Cuban capital of Havana on Friday (6/05), with the destruction of the Saratoga Hotel.

It is not yet clear what may have caused the explosion in the city centre, which scared many people among tourists and residents.

Immediately the police and firefighters began the search for survivors in the rubble.

Soon after the explosion several videos began to circulate on social networks, where it showed the facade of the destroyed building and a lot of smoke still coming out of the place. (video social network)
