This Match...
This Match gave me confidence again in playing Puyo Puyo again. I'm still a long journey from being able to compete in any way, but after going through a time where I doubted I'd have any interest in playing again in Late 2020 / Early 2021, just being able to compete and take on a formidable opponent as Malxx in a Back-and-Forth Affair gives me some hope that, with time and commitment, I CAN be a better Puyo Puyo Player.

Perhaps, even, a competitive one.

But There are Three Things I know I must improve on from this Battle:
1. Speed - Too often I found myself hesitating to place pieces, and in turn, I either ended up wasting Puyo or setting off Puyo unintentionally. I need to pick up the pace if I'm going to get to the upper echelon of Puyo Puyo Players.
2. Transitioning - While I have seemed to gotten a consistent ability to setup Stairs Chains, if I am to take my chaining capabilities to another level, I MUST learn how to setup a transition if I am to be able to unleash larger and more powerful chains.
3. Follow-Up - THIS is probably my biggest problem right now in Puyo Puyo Battles. Once I set off my Main Chain, I have a lot, and I mean a LOT of trouble building up a 2nd or even 3rd Main Chain. This gives my opponent(s) the ability to EASILY take me down. This is a major problem that I must resolve if I'm going to be competitive.

Thank You Malxx for the Battle, and I Thank You All for Watching!
