New Facebook Censorship Method -> editing links to misdirect

In a recent Facebook post I found that FB edited my link so that people would be redirected and not find the nih.gov research I posted. This is a new method applied for my nih.gov documents as FB cannot "Fact Check" nih.gov in any capacity. Note I am a Comp Sci Prof with a background in AI and I have been researching social media censorship methods since I became aware of them in April 2020.

Note this danger goes far beyond our present situation. Consider that historians often research letters/correspondence of actors at the time too gain both context and missing facts. I posit social media will be used in the future by historians and vast amounts of relevant facts, analysis and perspective have been censored and will therefore be unavailable to future historians.
