🇷🇺On May 6, 2022, at the initiative of the Russian leadership, an operation was conducted to evacuate civilians held by Ukrainian nazis at Azovstal Iron and Steel Works.

▫️50 civilians, including 11 children, were rescued.

🚌All rescued civilians were handed over to representatives of the United Nations and the International Committee of the Red Cross for delivery to to selected temporary accommodation facilities.

▫️The humanitarian operation at Azovstal will continue on May 7, 2022.
