RARE BIRD, RARE BIRD (1969)

Formed in London in late 1969 and disbanded in 1975, RARE BIRD is a band that relied heavily on keyboards, and their musicality is very similar to that of Procol Harum and later that of Greenslade. They had a hit with the Sympathy album in the UK, but had more success in Continental Europe, where they became quite popular, their sound often reminding us of Barclay James Harvest.
