I love a lancero cigar and must admit I am disappointed that there aren't more available on the UK market.

When Casa Turrent released both a Maduro Lancero and a Claro Lancero in their 1880 range, I was excited and thought that it was time to have a Mexican Lancero showdown.

SWEET PACIFIC COCKTAIL RECIPE
40ml gin
20ml apricot brandy
10ml lemon juice
Dash of Angostura Bitters
Tonic Water

Shake gin, apricot brandy, lemon juice and Angostura bitters over ice, then pour into an ice filled Collins glass and top up with tonic water.

PAULA COCKTAIL RECIPE
40ml blended whisky
15ml cream liqueur
15ml amaretto

Shake ingredients over ice until chilled and well mixed. Pour into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a dusting of freshly grated nutmeg and cocoa powder.
