The April 15, 2022 Roblox BedWars Battle Pass Season 4 Egg Hunt Update introduces the Metal Detector Kit, which is unlocked at Battle Pass Level 5.

Metal Detector Kit is totally OP! You start with a metal detector item, which you use to collect treasure - iron, diamonds, and emeralds. When you use the metal detector, a white arc shape appears around your character pointing towards a treasure location. If you align this arc shape to be right above your character, then you are facing in the direction of the treasure. If you are moving and the arc shape starts swinging quickly from being above you to being at your side, then you are in the very close vicinity of the treasure. What the metal detector item does not tell you anything about though is elevation - once you're close to the treasure, the treasure itself may be well above or below where you're standing. When you are immediately close to the treasure, then a Collect action (press F on a keyboard) appears to get the treasure resources. What makes the Metal Detector Kit so crazy OP is the huge amount of diamonds and emeralds that you can get. Several times I got combinations of up to 6 dims and up to 6 ems per treasure collection.

What do you think of the new Metal Detector Kit? Do you think it's as OP as I do? How Over Powered do I think it is? Crazy OP! I'm guessing that the devs will in a week be lowering the amount of dims and ems that you collect with the metal detector. We'll see how long the Metal Detector Kit dominance lasts.
