Kim Kardashian Getting Backlash for Marilyn Monroe Dress

Reality star Kim Kardashian was the talk of the Met Gala for wearing one of the most famous dresses in the world. Kardashian sported a beaded gown worn by Marilyn Monroe sixty years ago. Monroe wore it when she famously sang “Happy Birthday” to then President Kennedy. The gown is now owned by Ripley’s Believe It or Not. And believe it or not, not everyone was thrilled to see Kardashian squeeze into a dress that some consider a national treasure.
