MPO MOSCOW TOUR – A UNION OF CULTURES

The orchestra’s international tour for the 19/20 season, under the patronage of H.E. The President of Malta, shall present four events in prestigious concert venues around Russia’s capital city, Moscow. The inaugural concert features Maltese tenor Joseph Calleja at the recently inaugurated Zaryadye Hall. The subsequent performances, under the baton of MPO Principal Conductor Sergey Smbatyan, explore a wide repertoire whilst exporting Maltese music to foreign audiences.

The tour is being presented in collaboration with the European Foundation for Support of Culture, and supported by APKI, the Ministry of Tourism, the Malta Tourism Authority and the Valletta Cultural Agency.

Concert on the 23rd of November, 2019 within the framework of MALTA PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA MOSCOW TOUR in Svetlanov Hall, Moscow International House of Music, Moscow, Russia.
