Overall, the Ninebot ES1 Scooter with External Battery Pack (https://amzn.to/2Sj7naF - Amazon Affiliate Link) is a fun, fast scooter to cruise around town. The scooter was initially not equipped with the external battery pack and the experience is completely underwhelming. The stock ES1 has low top speed and slow acceleration.

Accelerating the Ninebot ES1 for the first time with the extended battery pack brings back the feeling and excitement of riding a bike for the first time!!! The kick of the battery pack and the top end power make the scooter actually something fun.

Wear: The scooter arrives looking beautiful. After one or two full trips...covers might be missing, screws loose, and the sticky surfaces adhesive may start separating in places.

The missing covers were replaced by Ninebot after submitting a request. It did take 3 months and they arrived nicely packaged. The screws can be reset with lock-tite and that seems to hold up well enough.
