The Chiefs may have gotten the steal of the NFL Draft in Justyn Ross by not drafting him at all, but rather signing him as an UDFA. Ross went undrafted despite being a 1st round talent just a few years ago, before dealing with some injuries, most notably a spinal fusion surgery in his neck/back area. Chiefs GM Brett Veach says that team doctors have cleared Ross and that he should be good to go. Will Ross make the Chiefs’ 53-man roster? Kansas City tendered Melvin Ingram for $4.4 million meaning he’ll make that amount this year for the Chiefs if another NFL team doesn’t sign him. If Ingram signs elsewhere, the Chiefs will receive a compensatory 2023 NFL Draft pick.
