The, "bait and bleed," strategy described by Mearsheimer is most likely the underlying strategy on the part of the US and Europe in relation to the Ukraine war. My opinion is that it is actually the US and Europe, not Russia, that will bleed the most--besides the unfortunate country of Ukraine, that is.
