The Mandela Effect, a name given to the strange phenomenon of collective misremembering – when a significant group of people all misremember the same details about an event. Some suggest that the Mandela Effect is caused by alternative realities constantly bleeding through into our own. Perhaps the fabric of our reality isn’t as secure as we might think. Or perhaps there is a reason why some entities might prefer that we remember events differently. Could it be that time travel is a reality, and our collective memories remain the only trace of past events which have been retroactively altered?
