Starbucks could freeze raises in unionized stores

Starbucks is warning its workers that voting for a union could affect future wages. The coffee chain said it would raise wages back in October. Tuesday its interim CEO said the company will honor that commitment even if employees vote to unionize, but after that future pay hikes may not apply to workers in unionized stores.
