In Mariupol, museum workers saved the altar Gospel of 1811 and an ancient handwritten scroll of the Jewish Torah

Lina Garmash, head of the Department of Scientific and Stock Work of the Donetsk Museum of Local Lore, showed them to the Donbass channel.

These and other rescued books were transported there for temporary storage from the destroyed Mariupol Museum of Local Lore. In total, 820 rare old books representing bibliographic rarity were saved.
