GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY FRIENDS!!!

I was incredibly challenged, as well as deeply convicted from this morning's passages scripture, because it really caused me to examine my heart as to my motivations for what I do for God. I want to make sure that what I do for God genuinely honors him, and that it's not to get any kind of attention for myself. That's why these questions from this morning's devotional very much challenged me, and I'd like to share them with you tonight. Please allow me to ask these questions from this morning's devotional, and I pray that they will get you to thinking about your motivations in serving God and others.

What’s motivated your service to the community?

What I'd like to do right now is share some of my thoughts through this vlog tonight, and I pray that what I say in this vlog will not only challenge you but help examine your heart and your motivations and how you serve others. Come join me in this vlog and learn what it means to serve Christ Jesus sincerely, genuinely, quietly, and cheerfully! 😊

So, as I close this post for tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that it challenges you and your motivation, as well as your intentions in serving God.

How might you be more intentional about using your gifts to bring glory to God?

I pray that you realize that when you serve God, that you make it about genuinely serving God and others, and not about drawing any kind of attention to yourself. Remember what Matthew 6:1-4 states on this issue, and choose to serve God with sincere intentions, and not about self-gratification. Most of all, I pray that we all, will choose to have the attitude of both John the Baptist and Spock, as we choose to live our lives for the Lord, and make sure that we remember just who it is that we serve. After all, it’s NOT about us, but about Jesus! Lord Jesus, help me to remember, that when it comes to giving and helping others, it’s NOT all about me, but about YOU!
