Pastor Dale shares his passion regarding speaking to churches about abuse. The issues of ignorance, and not wanting to know keep churches ignorant in being able to help abused people heal. 1 in 3 girls, 1 in 6 boys are abused or molested before age 18. We think abuse only happens in a dark room, not true. Abuse happens in crowded rooms, with family present, during church services. It's ugly and no one want to look at it. It's important for churches to address it. The more closed the group, the higher the abuse rate. Spiritual abuse adds another huge barrier to those who have already been abused.
