Tony Caravan LIVE 5-31-21 -- Memorial Day Vrant

There was a time when Memorial Day meant a visit to the cemetery to put flowers on a grave site of family members and friends. Maybe there was a parade in small towns with firetrucks and VFW, Amvets and American Legion veterans marching. Then it was to a picnic, pool or the backyard for hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill. Beers for the adults and sodas for the kids. It was a social gathering and a positive event. Not backward looking, but a celebration of life and the good things we had. A promise for a better tomorrow.
