Melissa Bade, partner and animal resources manager sitting with two-day-old heifer calf who was not able to drink from her mom due to weakness and inability to stand from selenium deficiency. We raise "Saddle Cattle" and are there at every step for moms and babies. We will be bottle feeding this sweetheart for 6 months or more. Maybe in a few years of sagging I will have udders by my legs... We have quite the funny farm with hybrids, exotics and chaos daily."
