Looking at the knot on the log that killed our horse in a freak accident. RIP Tuppy

Tuppy's midline was punctured by a sharp knot on a log in the creek. The vet thinks she slipped and it pierced her and when she struggled to move it ripped her further. He insides fell out when she stood up and walked to me. It was horrific. She staggered to the next paddock and bled out. She died with her head in my lap. I'm glad we were there for her but miss her terribly.

It's taken me some months to post this. I will also post her burial when I'm up to it and later put together a dedication video for her and also her foal Dyani, who died a year before Tuppy as a yearling.
The grief is harsh. I miss her terribly. She was my best friend in horses, if there is such a thing. I was blessed to have her in my life.
