Chef Grace's Place Podcast: Jesse Barrett: Rodale Institute

12

Jesse manages Rodale Institute’s farm share and other community-facing food programs. Jesse holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from William Paterson University of New Jersey. After college, Jesse spent over ten years in corporate restaurants, including a position as manager in a farm-to-table, fine-dining restaurant where he established relationships with local farmers.

I was so excited to come across Rodale Institute. You might have been hearing in the news lately about the industrial farming system. This conversation is a good introduction to the issues organic farms are trying to tackle but I'm sure we didn't cover everything. Guests of Grace is a Food Podcast series dedicated to all things food. I have an interesting food person on every week. Although it is a lot of chef and cook related content, I am interested in ALL things food; farmers, doctors, homesteaders, real estate people that help you find your homestead, lawyers that shape food policies, National Treasures like Pat's King of Steaks, Kitchen Gadget Queens, Culinary Teachers; if it influences the way we eat I want to learn about it. So if you are an interesting food person reach out, I'd love to talk to you!
