Bradmill Underdark

Old services tunnels under the Bradmill Textiles factory in Melbourne. the tunnels were used for Steam, water, power and other services supplying machinery for dying cotton. It must have been a special hell for the maintenance workers! There is two levels to explore, however the lower level is always flooded while the level we explored is quite often accessible.
There are various rooms along the length of the network, mostly gutted of machinery. In one room especially we started getting a bit giggly from lack of oxygen (no other nastiness detected) so I do recommend avoiding entering.

Bradmill is possibly the most visited urbex site in Melbourne, with many different videos available online. This is the second installment for my story of this iconic location passed by hundreds of thousands of people each day. In the future I will take you through the different areas, from dark basements and tunnels (right now in fact!), to sky-high conveyor belts and every where in between. Using footage gathered over a 7 year period you will see both the resilience and decay of this stunning example of 1950's industrial architecture.

Don't forget to rumble and follow to see more videos as they pop up, and please to drop me a line in the comments, it all helps allow more people to see my work.
