The Battle of the Horn Bands today as Chicago and Tower of Power lay it out for the Segue City Special. How many times has the horn section of Chicago ever been called by another artist to do horns on a particular song? Can't think of any can you?

While TOP's horn section has recorded with at over a hundred different artists and groups over 50 years - Elton John, Little Feat, Santana, Huey Lewis and the News, Aerosmith, Paula Abdul, WAR, Bonnie Raitt, Heart, Jefferson Starship, Rod Stewart, Lyle Lovett, Poison, Phish, Pharoahe Monch and more... listen to the two of them here and it becomes that much more obvious that the Tower of Power is the superior horn band. Besides, they've got more soul. Some groups just do just like some people do too.

Segue City will be a recurring short-form programming element of "The Big Kahuna" - one of GET's developmental Internet Radio formats created by Dain Schult. It’s all a part of GET’s radio division – American Internet & Radio (“AIR”).

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began.
