New York City Van Camping - What's it Like? Statue Of Liberty at Night - Subway Travel - May 2021

On this van life adventure, we stealth camped in New York City! This is something like an informal New York City travel guide. How to get around the subway system, staten island ferry etc. I LOVE NYC! We visited B&H Photo to upgrade camera gear, ride the subway and then head to the staten island ferry to see the statue of liberty at night. Be on the lookout for the next video that shows more of the vanlife. Stealth camping is awesome and an affordable way to see areas you may not be able to otherwise. The 2 nights I slept in my Toyota Sienna, cost me less than $60 in fees. It cost $60+ to park in many parts of NYC just for a short time. I checked with my normal hotel in Times Square to find out it would cost nearly $100 per night just to park my van there. Instead I did it on the cheap, parked in a safe yet cheap area and slept in it :) I found a location that is covered, safe, restrooms nearby and overall a great place to vancamp.
