DAY 3 pond build. Tree clearing is done, lets check out the dirt, Bobcat e42 R series mini excavator

June 28, 2021. Join me in my new Bobcat e42 R series mini excavator as I continue on another new land management project. This time I will be clearing trees with the mini excavator to make room for a new small pond project and starting the dirt work on the new pond. This area of this field and ditch take a lot of water runoff and if I can build a good sized pond here and reroute the water runoff I can cure much of the erosion and sediment issue with this pond project. Also, coincidentally, a lot of deer use this wooded ditch line for travel! So a nice stop to drink at the pond just might prove to be advantageous the landowner come fall deer season!
