Elon commented on his plans for Twitter while at the Met Gala.

He said he wants to make it more "broadly-inclusive" and to have more people on it and engaging with one another.

He says he wants to make the code open-source so that people can offer improvements and also to serve as proof that users' views aren't being manipulated, so that users "can't ascribe to malice what is not malicious."
