Brian Peckford on Canadian Freedom 🍁 "We must become united as Canadians"

Father of Confederation, The Honourable A. Brian Peckford was one of the original authors of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. He is a real Canadian hero and Newfoundland Premier from 1979 to 1989. Here is his stirring speech from earlier this year, accompanied by emotional moments, memories and visuals in the history of Canada.
As the original drafter and signatory of the Charter says, "From Tofino to Iqualuit, to Bonavista to the Niagara Peninsula, we must become united as Canadians."
