In today's episode #13 join me in my bobcat e42 R-2 series mini excavator as I dig our first deer watering hole, aka wildlife pond, or wildlife scrape on our illinois land, in a very strategic location at the edge of a brand new fall food plot, and connecting into a creek, also known as a 'runoff ditch' around here. The creeks dry up quite often throughout the year, so the goal of a good wildlife pond or deer watering hole is the build it so that it will stay full year round. Once the deer and wildlife learn that it is a permanent pond, they will utilize it much more on their daily routines. Today's watering hole is another new experiment that I am doing so stay tuned to the channel for future updates to see if this latest watering hole idea will work or not! Here is the link to a great watering hole video that I made several years ago: https://youtu.be/xfTQBwI24G4
