EP #17 - CLEARING OLD BARNS! Bobcat e42 R series! 38 Acre Southern Illinois Investment property

In today's episode #17 join us today for another nice day trip to the 38 acre Southern Illinois investment property. I will be back in my bobcat e42 R-2 series mini excavator as we continue the process of clearing trees and brush from the 2 old barns on this property. On a previous episode I tackled a good sized Honey Locust tree, complete with about 10,000 thorns, some of which were over 4 inches long! Here is that video link:

So in today's episode #17 I will continue on with clearing the other abandoned barn, as well as the storage barn, as they are pretty close together. There is a good bit of fine sifting work for the bobcat e42 R series mini excavator, but I think I am up for the challenge. I will get a good size burn pile built up after today's brush and tree clearing activity so stay tuned down the road for when we get to light it up! And my excavator skills will be put to the test on this one, as the really old barn is completely submerged and overgrown with trees and heavy brush! I will have to separate and sort everything out in this clearing project, making one burn pile, one metal scrap pile, and one dumpster pile. All in all it was a great day to work in the outdoors down here in Southern Illinois, and Sharon and I had a great time, and we are happy to be able to share it with all of you! I'm pretty sure you enjoy this episode! On one of the last episodes I got my Ford F250 and equipment trailer stuck and had to rescue myself with the Bobcat mini excavator.
