This is the oral argument where I lost my mind. A group wanted to fly the Christian flag at Boston City Hall, a government location. The city had allowed other private flags to fly, but refused the Christian flag (notably, specifically because they called it that; apparently if they had called it something else that would have been ok with the city, even though it would be the same flag, look the same, and no one seeing it would know the difference, which is where I lost it). Today, in an unanimous decision the court ruled the City acted improperly. Let's discuss the decision.
