B.C. government introduces anti-racism data act – May 2, 2022

At a news conference in Victoria, B.C. Premier John Horgan announces the introduction of the Anti-Racism Data Act, legislation aimed at dismantling systemic discrimination faced by racialized communities in the province. The premier is joined by Rachna Singh (B.C. parliamentary secretary for anti-racism initiatives), June Francis (chair, Hogan's Alley Society), Robert Phillips (First Nations Summit), and Terry Teegee (regional chief of the British Columbia Assembly of First Nations).
