A double whammy! Join us today for a fantastic look at real life, real struggles, real world youth deer hunting success stemming from some great land management/land improvement/food plot strategies!! In today's 2021 Illinois shotgun deer season deer vlog we will cover 2 youth deer hunting success stories. And this is NOT during the Illinois deer youth season, these are both during the 2021 Illinois shotgun (open season) opening weekend season. If you are new to the channel you might not realize my passion for improving land, improving property, improving deer habitat and wildlife habitat and achieving overall deer & wildlife management success! Well today we will cover 2 different Southern Illinois land management success stories for these 2 young men. First we will join our neighbor's John and Hugh Philpott for a back to back youth buck harvest success between 2020 and 2021. For the last 2 years now we have helped our neighbors plant fall food plots for deer on their 16 acre Southern Illinois farm. Then we'll take a look at our 2nd deer land management case study success with my buddy Curtis' 101 acre land management project success, once again after the last 2 years of improving this property.
