Chinese Naval Drills near Taiwan

🇨🇳☭❌🇹🇼🇺🇸 — Since April 17, 2022, on Mainland social medias it is being reported that the Marine Corps Brigades of the 73rd Army Group of the People's Liberation Army of China, under the Nanjing Military Region/Eastern District of PLA, based in Fujian Province (which also covers Republic of China/Taiwan), started Military Drills in the Western Region of Guangdong Province

During the drills, according to the Chinese Observers, the units simulated a amphibious/naval landing operation.

Noteworthy that such drills took place during an unannounced visit to 🇹🇼 Republic of China (Taiwan/ROC) by 🇺🇸 US Senators led by Senator Bob Menendez and Senator Lindsey Graham heavily criticized by the Government of Mainland China (PRC)
