Southern Illinois bass fishing-Father and son bass fishing time

Oct 2021. I had a great visit when my youngest son, Alan, and his buddy came down from Vermont all the way to Southern Illinois for a great fall visit. On this particularly beautiful and sunny evening I got to spend some time with my son while he casted and enjoyed some Southern Illinois bass fishing, having a cold adult beverage, a little embellishing and of course solving the worlds problems! We made some great memories. Owning land is more than just the 'land' portion of living the dream. Enjoying some father and son fishing and catching some Illinois farm pond bass is another big part of owning some land with a small pond on it.
