Europa x Shimano 600EX 6207 Vintage Road Bike Build

Europa is the house brand for Europa Cycles in Sydney, Australia. Established in 1973 by master frame builder Ezio Abeni, Europa Cycles produced some nice high end frames, and were very popular in the Pro racing scene in Australia in the 80s. Europa Cycles built frames were used by the Australian Olympic Road Cycling team in the 1984 LA Olympics, including the gold medal winning bike ridden by Dean Woods.

This is a mid-range, good quality example, likely Italian built, using Technocrat tubing. The groupset consists of the fantastic early 80s Shimano 600EX 6207 range, combined with a set of Mavic tubular rims and Shimano hubs.
