For arranging a funeral ritual for her father, Liu Xiao Di came to DaBeiGuSi by accident. She did not know that was a golden opportunity to hear the Dharma due to her filial piety. While working in the temple as a voluntary worker, she was found to have an aggressive brain tumor. The doctors in the hospital could not do anything for her. When she was dying, she chanted for the empowerment of Avalokitesvara. The Bodhisattva came and showed all her past wrongdoings and gave her another chance to survive.
