Are you sick of winter weather right now!? Me too!! So, let's get some fresh air, and get out of the house for a little while as I complete another land clearing project on my buddy's Southern Illinois farm. Today will be the completion of a new land clearing project that will expand a current Micro food plot in the woods, with another existing 'big field' food plot to create a really nice 'bump out' food plot that will be enclosed on 3 sides by timber and cover. Today I'll be using my Bobcat e42 R-2 series Mini excavator at my friend Phil's Illinois homestead farm, (which is not far from the Kentucky border) to help him by expanding this food plot and continuing to improve his property to help him live the dream, one acre at a time even more so now! This will be the completion of this particular land clearing project and we'll start with a Before look, then some during clips, then the completion of clearing the last few big tree with my bobcat mini excavator and then an after look to see how it turned out. Also we'll look at some nice bucks in some trail cam videos to help to motivate all of us for the 2022 deer hunting season! After all, we are NOW working on the 2022 Illinois deer season!
