Big honey locust tree vs. Mini excavator. New pond dig site clearing trees with mini excavator
Join me for another mini mission adventure from our Southern Illinois Kapper Outdoors farm. In today's project I am continuing the land clearing portion of our new VRBO rustic cabin in the woods project and I came across a very large, prickly and gnarly honey locust tree that needs to be removed for the new pond build. Today I'll outline just how much work it takes to remove a tree of this magnitude, especially from a wed and muddy future pond site. Also, during the video I mentioned the Beautiful bertha western red cedar project that my wife is working on that will actually go into the living room of our future vrbo cabin in the woods project, so here is that link:

Today I'll be using my bobcat e42 R2 series mini excavator and a Milwaukee M18 fuel chainsaw. Let's see if I will succeed on this mini mission on this weekends land clearing project. This is our new series of the entire process of building a new VRBO rustic cabin build series from our Southern Illinois land, which is smack dab in the middle of the Shawnee National Forest here in Southern Illinois. Thanks for joining us today, and as always please hit the like button and share this video if you got a laugh, learned something new or just enjoyed some vicarious fresh air with our team! We would greatly appreciate that!
