his is (and maybe should be) the biggest bone of contention throughout church history right up until today.
Questions like:
What does the text mean?
How do we interpret the Old Testament?
How do we interpret the New Testament?
What are the critical questions we must ask?
How do we understand the authorial (original) intention of the text?
