THE ABBEY OF THE LEMUR-The Most Exquisite Corpse

(2005) A neat curio of the tin age....I was struggling to hold "Abbey" together at this point....the VDA Mafia had imploded, Jet was making more and more noise about leaving town and Shannon was increasingly focused on more "straight" programming like THE CAINE INTERVIEWS and was considering our more outre output as an embarrassment. One exercise we did was this unique improv exercise based on the old "exquisite corpse" idea popularized by the surrealists. The three of us would alternate narratives, the only cues of which we had were the very last thing the previous person had said. Turned out pretty well, I think!
